In Take Me To The World: The Songs of Stephen Sondheim, Donna McKechnie honors one of Broadway’s greatest composers through songs from iconic productions such as Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Anyone Can Whistle, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Along with the music, she shares personal stories from her time working closely with Sondheim, offering rare insight into his creative process and lasting influence on her life.

Donna McKechnie is a Tony Award–winning Broadway legend, best known for her role as Cassie in A Chorus Line. Her career spans Broadway, London’s West End, and major international stages, and she recently completed a celebrated run as Madame Morrible in Wicked. This intimate concert blends storytelling, history, and timeless music into one remarkable night.
