The Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Marathon 2026 returns on January 25, 2026, as a citywide running celebration through Miami’s iconic streets, offering both a 26.2-mile full marathon and a 13.1-mile half marathon on a USTAF-certified, flat, single-loop course that highlights Miami’s skyline, waterfront views, historic neighborhoods, and cultural landmarks. Both distances start in downtown Miami near the FTX Arena early on race day and finish at Bayfront Park, creating an unforgettable experience for runners and spectators alike.

Race activities begin predawn with runners gathering in corrals as early as 5:00 AM, with the opening ceremony at 5:45 AM and competitive waves rolling through from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM. Roads throughout Downtown Miami, Biscayne Blvd., MacArthur Causeway, and Miami Beach will be closed from 6:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM as participants traverse the course.

The course provides exceptional spectator vantage points along the oceanfront and bridges, while digital clocks and course markers guide participants throughout their run. Aid stations with water and sports drinks, medical support, and entertainment nodes are strategically positioned to support all athletes.

The event has become a highlight of Miami’s sporting calendar, drawing thousands of runners from across the globe. Marathon and half marathon registration closed early due to high demand, with a waitlist system in place for additional entries prior to the race.
